Beyond Skin

Beyond Skin
1999 This last album to date by Nitin Sawhney is, as usually, really worked. There are some of the most emotive tracks by Nitin Sawhney. Always soft rhythms, much more lyrics than in his previous albums and “Letting go” or “Nostalgia” are really some of the great tracks included in this album.

Displacing the Priest

Displacing the Priest
1996 This second album is really, really very good. This artist found his own way off Talvin Singh while still applying principle of Talvin: to use London underground rhythms and techno and to mix with his Indian roots. Results is not as techno as Talvin Singh’s work but much more ambient, ethnic music. We think to listen to “In The Mind” from this album would give anyone a good idea of Nitin Sawhney’s work.
Migration

Migration
1995 The first known album by Nitin Sawhney. Some very good tracks in there and a whole work really good. If you like Talvin Singh, you should give a try to this artist.
